Star hostel is the best hostel I found so far, the comfort room is clean, faucets, showers, lights are all properly working. You’ll have your own shoe/s cabinet and slippers you can use until you check out.
They’re serving free breakfast around 8am-10m which is fresh fruits and bread with egg or bacon, etc. You can also get loaf, buns, coffee, tea/s , apple cider juice too.
There are free snacks in the kitchen like their traditional plum candies, airplane biscuits and gummies. Cocktails and beers are available at night in their bar too!
Drinking water is FREE.
Staffs are so helpful and polite!
Rooms and beds are clean, blankets and mattresses are nice, lounge is Instagram worthy with relaxing music all day, while they’re playing movie at night.
How to get there?
At Taipei Main Station, look for Underground Mall and exit at Y7,
At the exit, turn right and turn left at the corner, you don’t need to cross the road.
Once you turn left, go straight ahead for 500 meters and Star hostel is in the right side.
