My appointment for biometrics was 7 days after submitting my application because of the holidays and weekends. VFS is operating during normal business hours.
Biometrics for Australian Visa has a lot of open and available slots. VFS will submit your application after your biometrics and you just need to wait for embassy’s email for the result.
