Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia (must-read)
I booked a room for one night on Airbnb, arrived at KK around and still looking for the address until , Locals helped me and they also tried calling the number but no one’s picking up the phone.
Hopeless, and exhausted tried Booking.com to stay in a hostel for the last minute since have on the next day going to KL.
I called the number and met “Rey” a owned the hostel, wasn’t even finish telling about what happened but it seems he knows everything.
He actually showed the place to me, and he keeps on calling the host for the refund. We’re able to get it, but I don’t really know why the host didn’t send us the full refund( still contacting support about it)
Rey told me that wasn’t the first tourist who experienced the same story on that .
I was so exhausted and all. All want to do is to fly to KL.
But Rey bring me to the mosque, and also invited me for and he introduced me to his girlfriend, they tried to make my day.
And heard Rey telling his girlfriend, she looks so depressed earlier. (Lol)
I highly recommend Bed and Breakfast (B&B@21) Rey, is such a great and helpful host. I don’t have any negative thing to say.
Breakfast is available every day,7am-10am, location is very close to things you need. Bathrooms are clean, Rooms are comfortable. Staffs all friendly. After my trip in KL, flew back to KK and stayed again in the same hostel.
” GRACE HOUSE ” PLEASE AVOID THIS AIRBNB IN KOTA KINABALU, MALAYSIA.

I stayed 7 days total in Malaysia, just checked on twin tower and cave in KL, and the mosque and Manukan island in Kk.
There’s a lot of things to do in Kk than in KL, like , going to park, going to for , island hopping, tea garden and a lot more.
I wasn’t able to do those things since need to work 60-70hrs/week.
I usually stay in my place and work.
